This pattern can be made in many different fabrics. The heavier and more structured the fabric, the more pronounced the “balloon” effect. For example, you can use neoprene, cotton piqué, jacquard, or wool.

Recommended weight: 250–400 g/m² (7.4–11.8 oz/yd²).

For a more fitted look, opt for a crepe fabric.

Thanks to its clever pocket gusset construction, there is no need to insert a zipper. If you'd rather add an invisible zipper, simply remove the pockets from the pattern.
