Gradations & Measures

.

  • How to take my measurements so that the model fits my size ?

For tops and dresses, the main measure is the bust.

For skirts and pants, the waist and hips are the most important.

I try to get as close as possible to your size in shops.

 .

  • Which size to choose ?

I try to get as close as possible to your size in shops.

To choose your size, use the measurement diagram below.

In addition, prefer the largest size if the measurements are between two sizes.

For fitted models, it is always better to make a canvas before the final version.

Grille de taille

The "C'est moi le patron" collection is designed for measurements (see size diagram above). There is always an ease of 2 cm minimum expected on the most adjusted models.

The stature used is about 165 cm.

.

  • How to adapt a pattern and at which levels ?

For the collection "C'est moi le patron", the stature provided on the patterns is about 165 cm.

If you want to adapt the patterns to your size, for tops & shirts, the adaptation will be at the waist, for the skirts & pants, the adaptation will be done by the knee. To adapt a sleeve length, it is necessary to modify the pattern at the level of the elbow.
